Iron May Boost Fertility

If you're trying to get pregnant, but are having trouble, today's post is for you. A recent study finds that women who take iron, regularly, have fewer problems with ovulatory infertility than those who don't.

The study, published in the journal Obstetrics and Gynecology, found that, in an eight year study, women who regularly took iron containing multi-vitamins were less likely to have infertility problems compared to women who didn't.

Iron deficiency is the most common nutritional deficiency in the world. Iron from non animal sources was found to be very effective at boosting fertility.

If you are trying to conceive, talk with your doctor about adding more iron to your diet.
